This is a short clip from an educational animation produced for the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland to explain the process by which the immune system rejects the new organ after a liver transplant. The animation explores the roles of T-cells, Antigen Presenting Cells and inflammatory mediators such as interleukin 2.
